Collective Wisdom Coaching works with busy, stretched and overwhelmed women who want to escape the cycles of shame, blame and guilt and shift gently towards a more caring and compassionate relationship with themselves.
Melanie is a community leader and founded Collective Wisdom Coaching and Consulting after enduring what she now terms the "Decade of Disaster" with the death of her mother, followed by her sister six months later. Her sister's 2 children aged 5 and 14 months came to live with her family and have since become her sons. In 2016 she lost everything she owned in a house fire and was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer in 2017.
Melanie qualifications and expertise stems from 20+ years as a youth and community worker. Her skill in coaching and her passion for helping women create and maintain their mental wellbeing enables her to be a Wellbeing Coach who supports people to transform their lives through her program.
Mel guides women to do the ‘work’ that uncovers possibility and the challenges they know are in them and that they want to tackle. Mel teaches women how to be their own coach so women can take charge to manage their thoughts, actions and results
Mel is passionate about supporting women to show up for themselves and use the evidence based models, tools and strategies to create a more compassionate and caring relationship with themselves and enhance their relationships with others. She does this by tapping into the strengths and assets her clients possess, she helps them uncover their superpowers in life!
